Overview

The NKG6-12 solid-insulated ring-main switchgear is an environmentally friendly, composite-insulated ring main unit independently developed by our company. It is a fully sealed power-supply unit in which all live components and switching devices are completely enclosed within an epoxy-resin housing. The entire switchgear is insulated from external environmental influences, ensuring reliable operation and personal safety while eliminating the need for maintenance. The equipment comprises three types of units: the V unit (circuit-breaker unit), the C unit (load-switch unit), and the F unit (combined electrical apparatus unit). Each unit can be operated independently or freely expanded, with the structure further divided into an intelligent control instrument room and connected via dedicated connectors and busbars.

Bad insurance

All materials used in product manufacturing are non-toxic and harmless, and they do not release any toxic or harmful substances during use. Moreover, these materials can be recycled after their service life, ensuring environmentally friendly usage.
Fully insulated, fully sealed, and fully shielded epoxy-resin switchgear enclosures and fuse cabinets—epoxy resin boasts excellent electrical, mechanical, and thermal properties, making it a long-standing material of choice for electrical equipment with proven performance. The switchgear and fuse enclosures are manufactured using the epoxy-resin APG process. The insulating enclosure is a critical component of solid-insulated switchgear, serving both as an insulator and as a load-bearing structure. It must simultaneously meet stringent technical requirements, including high heat resistance, weather resistance, crack resistance, high mechanical strength, and superior dielectric strength. Given the large volume of the enclosure, the numerous embedded components, and the diverse geometries, manufacturing presents considerable challenges. Years of experience in the design and fabrication of insulating components—spanning enclosure design, material formulation, and process optimization—have ensured high-quality, mass production of this critical part. Upon customer request, we can also supply enclosures with external shielding that is grounded and safe to touch.

Maintenance-free

With the exception of the operating mechanism, the high-voltage switchgear in solid-insulated indoor AC high-voltage vacuum switchgear is completely sealed, eliminating the need for cleaning and maintenance and thereby reducing operation and maintenance costs.

Wide range of applications

The switchgear and isolating switch operating mechanism box employs a dynamic‑static sealing structure to form a sealed cavity, which is filled with dry nitrogen at zero gauge pressure. It does not use SF6 gas and is completely isolated from the external environment, ensuring reliable operation of the switchgear under all conditions.
